Pax Company took part in the annual Asian Attractions Expo which was held in Beijing since June 17 till June 20, 2014. We started our trip few days before the show so that to be able to view such perspective and fast growing and developing cities as Hong Kong and Macao. Asia met us with humidity and crowds of unhurried (that was strange for us!) people. The cities surprised us with their advanced level, usage of new technologies and careful attitude towards natural environment at the same time. We were surprised by the passion of Chinese towards extremes and gaming: old and young were gaming nearly everywhere! At the highest Macao tower there was a few hours queue of those willing to bungee from the height of 233 meters (the highest bungee in the world) and experienced free-fall speed up to 200 km/h! Brave enough to bungee experienced the free fall speed around 5 seconds while the length of bungee ropes increased 4 times and they stopped 30 meters above the level of the ground.
Then we went to Beijing to the exhibition itself. There were many interesting contacts with the representatives of Asian and European regions. At the framework of the exhibition we visited the Forbidden City, the Chinese Opera and the Chinese Wall – all those helped us to better understand the peculiarities of Chinese culture and to find out the optimum method of working at this market. We believe the Asian region is very perspective for the market of entertainments and amusement rides and we actively work in this direction. We are looking forward to the next year Asian Expo!
